Surprise Snow at Humblebee Farms

When we moved to Texas I was convinced my days of seeing snow was essentially over. With an average expected snowfall of less than an inch I imagined the only white-stuff I’d see would be the occasional dusting.

So when snow was called for on Sunday I kind of shrugged it off. Then Sunday arrived and, sure enough, around noon the freezing rain started to fall as snow. After an hour or two there was a light layer on everything. But then around 2 it really started to drop. Knowing surprise snow doesn’t happen all too often, we bundled up in all the winter wear we own and went for a drive in our UTV around the property. Here’s a few pics from our mini-adventure!
