This time of year is always a challenging time for my skin. Between the dry air and winter chill I feel constantly parched. I find myself drinking more water and slathering on creams and oils every morning and night. But often I need a boost of moisture that doesn’t mess up my makeup (I take a pretty minimal approach to makeup, but still, I’m way too lazy to re-apply mid day!). Enter in this lovely face spray; comforting lavender and soothing tea tree mingle together in a base of colloidal silver water and aloe juice for a light, yet effective boost of moisture that leaves skin glowing. And the best part? It’s simple to make and a must have year-round. For summer, simply store in the fridge to transform this elixir into a refreshing, cooling mist to combat hot, sticky summer heat.

Sourcing notes:
I purchase colloidal silver water in the largest bottle I can find – usually 32 oz since I use it in multiple preparations. Sovereign Silver is my go-to brand, but as long as you find a trusted brand that is stored in a glass bottle you should be good. For the Grapefruit Extract I use Hawaii Pharm Organic Grapefruit Liquid Extract. For the Lavender and Tea Tree oil any good quality, organic variety will do. I’m a fan of Rocky Mountain Oils new organic line of essential oils. I am not associated with any of these brands, these are simply what I use.
